You are able to buy co-ordinated for wrecks in space
then warp to the co-ordinates to salvage it.
Rare parts and blueprints will be available only through this method
You use the scanning laser to detect the parts
Carefull scanning will be required to ensure you salvage the correct parts in the correct order.
Some parts will by there nature hide other parts. eg the sheilds
Some parts may explode destroying other parts when you try to retrieve them. eg the reactor
As long as parts are retrieved in the correct order, you will be able to collect all parts.
