Terraforming is the process of turning the atmosphere, gravity, radiation, and pressure of a planet/moon body into a habitable state where domes are not needed for constructing buildings on the surface. Any player deed on a terraformed planet/moon can take advantage of the terraformed state.
Kickstarter 2014 Terraforming Devices
The Kickstarter 2014 Campaign allowed players to donate to the campaign and receive a terraforming device as a reward in the form of a blueprint. The blueprint can be accessed through the building selection menu of a deed and can only be constructed one terraform device at a time. The blueprint can be used again provided the previous terraform device is shut off.
A Large G-Device takes 80 hours to construct, then one full week of terraforming, while the Small G-Device takes 40 hours to construct, then one full week of terraforming.
