Gases from the gas giants (gas planets) can be collected by flying through them at speed
Gas mining is currently one of the best ways for the smaller starter ships to get some credits
The colour of the atmosphere and the speed traveling at will determine what gas is collected
The gasses are collected by just skimming the surface and you will need to have gravity anchor off to get enough speed
Several different gases will be collected for use on research in your own space station and future warp drive technology or sold at the contract boards
Currently only hydrogen is available to be harvested and can be sold on the Contracts board
