Hello Jam, may I request a few changes on the wiki, please?
This extension allows users to work with smart WikiCode tags, such like '#if'. It eases creating templates and simple automation tasks for articles.
Can be used to generate tables out of category pages, their contents and so-called semantic properties (which can also be used in templates). A good example would be a table of needed materials to be able to build ships. This can be extracted from ships when their templates did set a property for it. In the same time, the ship templates link each of the material types defined as property to it's own article (built in on SMW). This is a very powerful extension, though it is not invaisve at all.
Extension:DynamicPageList (third-party)
DPL is pretty much the same as Semantic Mediawiki, but it's a bit easier to handle when formatting the table output. It's performance is better aswell. It may also handle some tasks SMW is not able to.
This is a MediaWiki Gadget which highlights the WikiCode in WikiEditor. It can handle both HTML and WikiCode and is invaluable for editors :) Needs Extension:Gadgets be installed aswell.
With those enhancements editors will get pretty much fun and effectiveness while editing. Since I was about to create a few templates for everyone I fell into the problem of not having any ParserFunctions available. Without those it will be complicated to add templates without producing errors on people not knowing to use it correctly. I'll give you a few examples from my own page about good and easy templates - they're all documented aswell so you're fast into it to get the points.

The below templates cannot be found within 'what links here', but you can import them to the sandbox and play around for a bit (all others, too of course). They represent a full article template, using a set of templates, predefined sections and some standard texts.
